About AAE

The Association of African Entrepreneurs was created in 2004 and is based in Ghana, West Africa. The organization represents a group of volunteers and collaborators which work hand-in-hand in promoting the use Information and Communication Technologies to entrepreneurs everywhere.

The AAE provides news and information on information and communication technologies that can benefit its members. The AAE also serves as a venue for public and private dialogue and advocacy.

Additionally it offers alternative education and training programs targeted to the young people from low-income families who are unable to afford traditional classroom learning. Such courses involve apprenticeship, self-study, business and technology skills, basic economics as well as micro-finance; and the value of self- employment as it is considered as the starting point of small and medium enterprises.

The AAE is the ideal platform to network through the organization of annual fairs, exhibitions that will enable members to learn new business concepts, new technologies, and to gain prospects for their existing business. The Association of African Entrepreneurs is Ghana Registered number G.15,260 on 13th April 2005 under the Companies Code, 1963 (Act 179) , liability of members limited by guarantee.
